If an employer opts to participate in JobKeeper, you must nominate all eligible employees. You cannot choose to nominate only some employees. Who is eligible for jobkeeper ? Businesses must apply for JobKeeper and name their eligible employees by August to receive payments for August. A limit applies of one $5JobKeeper payment per fortnight for one eligible business participant. Sole traders, one partner in a partnership, one beneficiary of a trust, and one director or shareholder of a company may be regarded as an eligible business participant.

How do the JobKeeper Payments Work? The Treasury had also argued for a fresh eligibility test for businesses looking to remain on JobKeeper beyond September. Businesses will still be required to demonstrate the required reduction in turnover — per cent for businesses with turnovers of $billion or less, per cent for those with turnover of more than $billion, and per cent for ACNC-registered charities.

Eligible businesses include not- for -profits and. However, workers that are in receipt of workers compensation, that are fully incapacitated such that their employer is not contributing any salary or wages, will not be eligible for the JobKeeper payment.
