The policy describes how NHS England manages, responds to and learns from complaints made about its services and the way in which they are commissioned. This is an interim policy to allow time for further consultation and to incorporate any recommendations from wider reviews.
With policies in so many different areas, policies and procedures for hospitals need to be well organized and easily searchable. The importance of hospital policy and procedures cannot be dispute but the way they are managed best will vary from one organization to another. Finding the best management system for your organization is what is vitally important. We have many policies and procedures to ensure the safe running of our hospital and its services. They cover issues such as the employment of our staff, health and safety, managing risks and specific policies relating to the care of our patients.
Policies and procedures. The Trust has an extensive range of policies and procedures covering clinical and corporate activities. These include many set out by the Information Assurance team, ranging from topics from risk management to password control.
Selected policies and procedures are available below. They are reviewed on an annual or bi-annual basis. If you have symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) – a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of smell or taste (anosmia) – the advice is to stay at home for days.
